A manual therapist with over 12 years of experience. Gunn IMS certified practitioner. Special interest in lower extremity biomechanical evaluations and the treatment of runners.

Jennifer Butler B.Sc. P.T., BA Kin

Special interest in athletes and sports related injuries. Currently studying acupuncture through AFCI and pursuing certification in sports physical therapy.

Lisa Baptie BSc.PT

Manual therapist with over 11 years experience. Trained in traditional acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation. Special interest in neck and shoulder injuries.

Catherine Maxwell Palmer B.Sc. P.T., F.C.A.M.T., AFCI

A manipulative therapist with over 10 years experience. Special interest in the treatment of spinal and running injuries. Certificate in medical acupuncture from the University of Alberta as well as being certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. Spine stabilization class instructor.

Certificate in sports physical therapy. Certificate in medical acupuncture from the University of Alberta. A manual therapist with over 11 years of experience with an interest in knee, shoulder and sport related injuries. Consultant physical therapist for the Decidedly Jazz Danceworks Company.

Stacey J. Will B.Sc. P.T., C.H.T.

Physical therapist with over 9 years of experience. Certified hand therapist who treats a variety of hand and forearm injuries or problems. Treatment may include custom splinting. Studying acupuncture through AFCI.

Alix Jackson B.Sc. P.T.

A manual therapist with over 25 years experience holding a certificate in medical acupuncture. Has a special interest in treating orthopedic and respiratory conditions. Incorporates the use of acupuncture in the successful treatment of respiratory conditions such as asthma.

Gabrielle Campbell B.Sc. P.T., R.C.A.M.T., CMA

Manual therapist with over 10 years experience in orthopedics and sports. Certificate in medical Acupuncture from the University of Alberta and Intramuscular Stimulation. Special interest in neck, spine and athletic injuries. Spine stabilization class instructor.

Mark Metcalf BSc Kin, MSc PT

Special interest in treating sport related injuries and returning the injured athlete to competition. Also hold a degree in Kinesiology and have three years experience in exercise therapy.

Kurt Vogel B.P.E, BSc. P.T.

A physical therapist with experience treating a variety of populations including amputees, athletes and injured workers. Kurt has worked extensively with hockey, football and basketball teams while at Queen's University and at the University of Calgary. Kurt has a special interest in treating running and triathlon injuries and incorporating manual therapy and exercise therapy skills into his practice.

A manual therapist with over 15 years of experience. Special interest in treatment of the neck and sport related injurys. Holds a clinical appointment in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta.

KINESIOLOGISTS:

Barbara Garries B. Kin., Dip. A.T.

Barbara is a graduate from Mount Royal College, from the diploma program of Athletic Therapy. She furthered her education at the University of Calgary by earning her Bachelor of Kinesiology. Barbara has also gained experience from working with SAIT Athletics as a trainer for both the men and women's soccer teams. She was also a recreational gymnastics coach for eight years, five of which were here in Calgary. Currently Barbara works here at Westside Sport Physiotherapy running and instructing the hydrotherapy program. Her kinesiology duties include off the shelf bracing, custom knee bracing, functional ability evaluations and exercise rehabilitation.



PILATES INSTRUCTOR:

Rudi LeValley

Rudi has been involved with Pilates since 1998. Certified at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, Rudi has been teaching beginner to advanced mat classes as well as private and semi private apparatus lessons in and around Calgary full time since then. In November 2003, Rudi participated in the PMA Conference in Denver and received his re-certification credits. Rudi is a member in good standing of the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance).
